Tesla Model S Rear Suspension Geometry
The rear on Model S carries an average of -1.9 degrees of camber. This
is normally enough to eat the inside shoulder of the rear tire.
The following are some pictures of the rear suspension. In addition,
there is a "stick" layout showing how much the top link must be lengthened to
remove a degree and the camber gain associated with lowering the car by two
inches. The component lengths are quick measurements and I have not
verified the assumption that both upper and lower links start at a 2 degree
upward slope at Standard ride height. The drawing can be found
here.
